Since 1987 you may have known us as AIA, or American Insurance Administrators, or as one of our three core divisions: AIA Property & Casualty (P&C), Benefits Resource Group (BRG), or as Benefits Broker Solutions (BBS). You may have heard something about us becoming part of Alera Group in 2017. But we are all one company, and now we are aligning our name, our brand, our new look, and our new website to reflect that strong one-company story.

Meet Our Team
Ashley Heller
Account Manager, Advanced Strategies
Ashley serves as an Employee Benefits Account Coordinator working uniquely on advanced healthcare strategies and wellness solutions for clients. She supports a number of advanced health strategies including our suite of GameChanger programs. She is integral to the implementation and ongoing engagement of these unique solutions and strategies. Ashley’s responsibilities include supporting clients through the implementation and launch of vendor solutions, developing engagement strategies, and supporting and managing the ongoing relationships between vendors and clients. Ashley joined the team in 2019.
Ashley holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business from Point Park University. She is known for her organizational skills as well as her focus and attention to detail and looks forward to working closely with clients on their unique initiatives.
Deb Hoffer
Benefits Administration, HR Technical Supervisor
Deb is the Benefits Administration/HR Technical Supervisor responsible for servicing and assisting our clients, Alera Group partner clients, and our broker partner clients with benefit administration technology. Deb oversees the day-to-day functions of the Benefits Administration department. She delivers extraordinary service and is knowledgeable with building and maintaining electronic benefit-enrollment platforms, as well as configuring electronic enrollment files that are sent to carriers.
Deb spent part of her professional career working in the collections industry handling bookkeeping and payroll functions. After Deb finished her degree, she decided to pursue a career in the Human Resources field which lead her to her current position in Benefits Administration.
Deb is a licensed Life, Accident and Health agent and holds a BS degree in Business Administration with a Certificate in Human Resources.
Tyler Hollinger
Plan Administrator, Employee Benefits
Tyler officially joined the team in February 2020, bringing with him a solid foundation in client relations and an eye for seamless benefits administration. A trusted friend of the firm, Tyler had already assisted the client management and benefits administration teams for years as a Senior Project, often stepping in during the busiest times. Before joining our team, he spent three years managing Autobahn in Lemoyne, where he honed his customer service skills and developed a knack for problem-solving. In August 2024, Tyler expanded his expertise by earning his Health and Life Insurance License. As a Plan Administrator, he skillfully processes MERP™, HSA, and FSA claims, adding a personal touch to each interaction.
Mandy Ivey
Senior Account Manager, Property & Casualty
Mandy is a Middle Market Senior Account Manager in the Property & Casualty division. She joined our agency in 2018 and provides exceptional service to our Commercial & Construction clients. Mandy is licensed in Property and Casualty Insurance and has twelve years of insurance experience. She has attained her CPIA (Certified Professional Insurance Agent) and CISR (Certified Insurance Service Representative) insurance designations.
Mandy grew up all over the United States and United Kingdom as a military dependent. In her spare time, she can be found spending time with her two teenage children and her pets.
